Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Endless Explosions - Stage 5

As you head right, you'll find a couple of week enemies and a Waddle Dee will toss you an Assist Star from the background. Advance toward the upper right and you'll find two 3D Warpstars that lead to vertical shafts in the backdrop. Take the one on the right first and you'll be taken to a mini-boss battle.

Mini-Boss: Grand Wheelie

You have fought this guy before, and you should be just fine doing so again. Tossing the Cutter blade or using a similar ability will let you get in a few hits right from the start, and then you should jump to avoid his charge. Just fight him like usual and the battle will soon end.

When the fight ends, you can absorb the boss if you like, and a 3D Warpstar will appear so you can ride to the backdrop. Once you arrive at that destination, look to the left. There's a high column of lava, and gray blocks resting atop it. You can float toward them, then use the Wheel ability to fly left and ram the blocks out of the way, allowing you to reach a treasure chest that you can open for a Sun Stone. Then you should head enter the door overhead.

Use your Wheel ability to roll quickly left, defeating enemies and destroying a barrel for an easy Keychain. Climb the ladder that is positioned near that barrel and you once again have your choice of two 3D Warpstars. Ride the left one into the backdrop and climb a ladder to a door, which leads to another mini-boss.

Mini-Boss: Gigant Edge

You have battled this fellow previously, as well, so just use the same general strategies. Remember that he moves slowly but his blade can reach pretty far, so let him take a wide swipe and then move in close to attack while he is recovering from his failed attempt to cut you in half. It's an easy fight by this stage in the game.

When you win, inhale your foe to gain the Sword ability. A 3D Warpstar soon appears. Ride it to the backdrop, then look below at the gray block pattern. You need to chop down, then right, then right again to clear the passageway and reach the chest, which contains a Sun Stone. Then you can exit through the doorway.

Now you can head right through this area to come to a ladder that leads to another pair of 3D Warpstars. Ride the one on the right and it will take you to another mini-boss.

Mini-Boss: Hornhead

It's yet another encounter that you've easily dealt with before. Just avoid his charges and hit him with sword strikes or whatever else suits you. As usual, inhaling and shooting stars (even your ability, if you drop it) is the way to inflict the most damage.

Inhale and absorb Hornhead when you beat him, and catch a ride into the backdrop by way of the 3D Warpstar that appears. Note the weak block with a gray stone overhead. Jump onto the weak block and then press B and Up to ram it with your Beetle ability, breaking it. Now you can head through the passage to open the chest and obtain a Sun Stone. Once you have that, exit through the overhead door.

As you head right here, it appears that there is only a single ladder and 3D Warpstar. However, you can float up to the toward the top of the screen and find a secondary one. Ride that star into the background and pass through a doorway.

Here, there are enemies to the left and right. Overhead, there's a 3D Warpstar. Ride it into the backdrop and open the chest to obtain the Rare Keychain: Dark Matter. Then pass through the door to arrive at another mini-boss.

Mini-Boss: Bonkers

You're dealing with Bonkers in confined space, but by now you shouldn't need any pointers. Just defeat him in the usual manner.

Inhale and absorb Bonkers after you beat him, then ride into the backdrop. There's another chest, which contains the stage's final Sun Stone. To reach the chest, just hit the bomb block with your hammer. Then you can pass through the glowing door to the right.

Here, there's an enemy just to the right. Beyond that waits a 3D Warpstar. Ride the star into the foreground and head up the hill. You can see a 3D Warpstar to the right, past a crate that contains a restorative tomato. However, don't jump on it yet. Descend along the hill to find a Keychain suspended in the air. Pick that up and then ride the star to the background, where you can enter the goal door.
