Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Wild World - Stage 3

From the start, catch a ride on the 3D Warpstar into the background. Head left and break open a barrel for a Key that you can use to open the door. Enter it.

In the next chamber, pass through a mirror and continue right. Here, the back wall shows the reality, while the foreground can't be trusted. As you run along, watch the background to see which ledges are false and where ghosts are moving and such. Keep going and ascend when you must, over an invisible wall in the foreground. As you continue, you'll see a Keychain indicated in the mirror. A short distance to the right, an invisible guy is running around. Take care of him, then drop through the false ledge and head left for the loot. Then return right and keep advancing. You can grab some food, and continue right to pass through another mirror.

Now you'll find yourself in a room with three barrels and a locked door. Traps are in two of the barrels, while the lower right barrel holds a key you can use to enter the doorway and arrive in an area with false floors. Head left to drop through one. You can go left to find a Ninja enemy, or right (past ghosts) to find another false floor). Drop through that, but be careful because the next ledge straight down is false and hides a bed of spikes. To the left, you can hit a bomb tile, then drop down another short distance. Here, head left to remove false flooring and reveal a door you should enter, lined on either side by spikes.

Through that door, you'll find a puzzle room. The prize here is a Sun Stone. To get it, you have to fire rockets from three launch pads near the center of the room. The trick is to aim at the star box with your first shot, then the bomb panel below it with shot two, and the switch bubble with your final shot. That will allow you to collect your prize. Now head back out the door and start right through the corridor.

You'll soon come to a set of three false floors in a row, as you descend. As you do, stand near the middle of the area and be ready to press Up to enter a doorway, or else you'll drop onto spikes.

Through that door, you'll find yourself on the right side of a chamber, with a mirror leading to your left. Pass through it and watch the back wall, as is usual for such situations. You will gain access to a large chamber, with huge stairs leading to the upper right. There are two main attractions here. The first is located on the steps, which mostly have spikes positioned along them. Look to the mirror for guidance. You should notice that one step in the middle of a series of spiked steps does not hide an invisible spike, and in the foreground is marked by a yellow stripe. Stand on that block and press Up to enter a secret room. In that room, you can hit a switch. Then head right and stand below a chest on the overhead ledge. The switch destroys blocks, and the chest will fall toward you. Press Up as it does to collect the Rare Keychain: UFO Kirby that it contains. Then head left and back out the door.

Near the top center of that same large chamber with the oversized steps, you can also find a Key sitting on a ledge. You have to grab it and then leap along the ledges shown in the mirror to reach the upper right side of the chamber and open a gate. Then you can drop down a shaft to collect a Sun Stone. Climb up from there and arrive at a room full of barrels. The leftmost one hides a locked door. The one just to the right hides an open door. There's a key in another one, and you can use that on the locked door.

Through that locked door, you'll find a Key sitting between large suits of armor. Grab the Key and advance to the right for some Miracle Fruit. Keep going from there and watch the suits of armor. Some of them shake, and you can inhale ghosts that appear from within them. Keep going and tug at a switch on the ceiling to destroy some blocks and reveal an opening with a locked door positioned within it. Continue right to find a final suit of shaky armor. Destroy the ghost that lurks within for a Key, which you can use on the door.

In the next room, you'll find angry floating plates. Inhale them and continue to a 3D Warpstar, which you can ride to reach the background. There, find another suit of rattling armor. Eat the ghost and reveal a Sun Stone. Then continue right and pass through the waiting doorway.

Now you are at the start of a chamber with more floating dishes. Eat them, and the sandwich, and continue right to find a bunch of paintings of doors. If you try to enter them, they'll just try to flatten you. Ignore them from now and note the blue star attached to the corner of a curtain, in the background. To your right is a 3D Warpstar. Ride it to the background and use Hypernova to suck at the star, from a ledge just to the right. You'll eventually pull down the curtain and cast light on the area, including the foreground.

If you return to the foreground and enter the only remaining door, you will reach an area with the stage's goal door. Before you do that, you want to collect the Sun Stone you see in the window that the curtain was covering. To do so, suck at the open windows until you pull them off your hinges. The stone will fly forward too, so you can easily collect it.

Now go ahead and make your way toward the aforementioned goal door. As you attempt to enter it, you'll find out that it is a fake. A ghost appears with a blanket. It will take up residence in various pieces of furniture, and fly around between the foreground and background. When it is in the foreground, you can inhale its protection and scarf it down, and the ghost will move to a different piece of furniture. Keep this up until it has nowhere left to hide. Then you can gulp down the ghost and the true goal door will finally appear so that you can exit the stage.
