Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Lollipop Land - Stage 6 EX

You unlock this stage by finding all 13 Sun Stones available in the standard stages in Lollipop Land.

As the stage begins, a wall falls. Stand still and let it fall, at which point you'll drop down a vertical shaft. At the base, head quickly right and take out an enemy, then drop down through a ledge and keep descending. Run left toward a sleeping bear when you see it. You need to position yourself where it is resting, or a wall will crash down and instantly kill you. Then you can continue your descent and inhale an enemy. Swallow it for the Spear ability.

Continue descending now, letting walls fall to smash blocks (and making sure that you're positioned in front of windows so that you are not flattened yourself). At the base of the area, you'll find a door.

Enter the door and jump up to grab the Wheel ability from the capsule overhead. Then roll along the area to the far right as ledges crumble beneath you. Because you are in Wheel form, you'll break through any obstacles along the way. Then you should stop and take to the air, floating further right and collecting stars while avoiding foes. When you find two floating pink enemies, not far left of a door, you can drop down below and quickly roll right (in Wheel form) along that ledge to break through a wall in that direction. If you do it properly, you'll roll onto the ledge and you can open a chest to obtain a Keychain. Then jump up and proceed through the door overhead.

In the new corridor, you can leap up along a series of ledges while some hands push toward you from the background. There's a door partway up this shaft, but it's a fake. Keep climbing to the top and avoid the 3D Warpstar if you want to float up above it for an easy red star. Then ride the Warpstar into the background and descend along the shaft you just climbed, only this time as part of the backdrop. Pass through the door.

Now you're in a low-ceilinged passage with a martial arts enemy that yields the Fighter ability. Gulp him down for that, then ride a 3D Warpstar to the foreground and head right in a hurry. The checkered wall in the background will drop and you don't want to be under it. There are three several such walls. If you don't like running, or you can also drop down and run along the water underneath the ledges. You don't want the third one to fall until you do something first, though. Land on that ledge and beat your way right. Grab the Key that waits there, then head back left so that you're in the opening when the ledge falls. Now continue to the right, and use the Key on the gate. You'll reach a 3D Warpstar. Ride it to the background, then head left. Use the switch to clear some blocks, and continue left to grab the Rare Keychain: 1-Up Meta Knight. Then head back to the right and return to the foreground before passing through the nearby door.

In this area, you can descend while a tank fires at you from the background. Let it take out blocks so you can collect stars. When you reach the apparent base, there will be a door. Look left and you'll see a small block. Have the tank destroy that block too. Then drop through the narrow opening and trip a switch. That drops the tank into a pit and grants you access to a second door. Enter it.

In the new chamber, there are two rocket pads and a 3D Warpstar to the right. You need to clear the path for the runner who is carrying the key, but without destroying anything more than the blocks. Start by jumping on the pad associated with the rocket on the right. Destroy the rightmost block, then use a shot from the left rocket to destroy the two left blocks at the same time. Now rush over to the Warpstar and head into the background. Meet the enemy and defeat him before he can drop into a pit. Gather the goodies, then use another 3D Warpstar to return to the foreground. Exit out the door, then head up and enter the overhead door.

Now you should head right, picking up an Assist Star along the way. Pull a lever to clear a path, then grab a Fighter or Archer upgrade if you like and pull another switch to destroy another wall. To the right from there, you'll find a mini-boss.

Mini-Boss: Flame Galboros DS

This guy moves fairly slow. He likes to jump in high arcs, and when he lands he could send shots in either direction. Avoid those, and move in close and hit him with the Fighter ability, if you have it. Otherwise, arrows or star shots can work fine. If you have charge moves, you can leap back and forth, doing good damage with each body blow, but you might take a hit yourself. Be ready to suck down your ability star if you lose it in the scuffle, and simply continue to press the attack. You should have plenty of life on your meter, so you'll outlast your foe even if he gets in a few lucky hits, just as long as you remain on the offensive.

When he is defeated, continue right. Hit a bomb block to allow yourself to drop down and grab some goodies. There's a chest here, so open it for a Sun Stone. Then ride the 3D Warpstar to your right, which will take you to the goal exit door in the background.
