Kirby: Triple Deluxe Guide > Story Mode > Lollipop Land - Stage 3

This area begins with a Ninja type enemy hopping around in the background. He'll occasionally vanish in a puff of smoke and change to the foreground. When he does, you can inhale him for his ability. Overhead, there's also a hanging lever. Jump up and grab it to open a gate to the right. Climb a ladder, then head left past more enemies and through a door.

In this area, you'll see hands in the background. They're attached to springs, and will fly forward with a vengeance. It's easy to tell where they'll strike, though, and to pass safely between them (especially with the 3D effect enabled). There's also an enemy that throws bombs at the foreground. You can find shelter under ledges along the way. When you reach the far right side of the area, a 3D Warpstar can take you to the background. There's a door immediately to your upper left, but you should venture left first for a Keychain. Then you can return to the door and enter it.

Now you should hit the bomb block to eliminate a bunch of blocks and allow you to pick up the Mobile Cannon. You can proceed to the right and will regularly launch shots from the cannon at regular intervals. They fire toward the background. Advance at a good clip, since you have limited time with the power-up. Hit every bomb block in the background as you go, eliminating enemies in the process. When you reach the far right, you'll see a huge stack of colorful blocks. Make sure that you send shots to destroy all of them and reveal a Sun Stone. Then you can discard the cannon and look just to the right for a 3D Warpstar. Ride it back and collect the stone, then return to the foreground. Continue right and pass through a doorway.

Float to the top of the screen, and glide to the right (with giant hands on springs harmlessly doing their thing along the walkway below) until you reach a 3D Warpstar. Ride it into the background and then float to the upper left for a Keystone. Head back right from there, past more of the giant hands on springs. You can take shelter where you see a red star if you need to along the way. To the right from there, you'll find another door.

Through that door, you'll reach a new chamber with a lever overhead. You can pull it to drop some timed dynamite. Then descend along the shaft and look to the right. You should see some conspicuous gray blocks. Toss the dynamite and let it explode, removing the blocks so you can continue down along that shaft. Hit a bomb block to reveal a 1up, and continue to descend to the bottom of the area. As you head right from there, you can pull another overhead lever to drop more dynamite. Carry it right to some yellow blocks. Hop up them and catch a ride on the 3D warpstar, into the background. Run left and toss the dynamite, then let it blast the large gray block. That will provide an opening so you can grab a Sun Stone.

Return right and jump to the foreground, then keep going right from there to find a door. Pass through it and jump up to pull a lever that opens a gate to the right. Through the gate is a cat enemy. Past it, you'll head through an opening and gates will drop to either side. Watch the back wall here. There are a large and a small opening. Stand lined up with the large opening, as the wall drops down. You'll be safe if you're in position. Then you can continue right, through a few more such rooms. In the third, make sure that you head right and grab a Key, then trot back left and stand in the opening. Otherwise, the key will be destroyed. Once you can safely do so, head right while carrying the key and you'll be able to access the lower of two doors.

Pass through that lower door to reach a room with a Sun Stone. Quickly drop through a ledge to avoid the explosive enemy and collect the stone from the recess. Then after the enemy explodes, jump up and head through the door to the right.

You're now at the start of a passage where a Bandana Waddle Dee will toss an Assist Star. Grab that, then keep going to the upper right to reach a lever on the ceiling. Pull it and pass through a gate to encounter a powerful but not especially lethal foe.

Mini-Boss: Gigant Edge

This guy is ridiculously easy, especially if you have the Whip ability. Just get in close and hit him a few times, then back away as he ponderously swings his sword like a mallet. Sometimes, you can back away and give him time to charge you, or to throw the weapon. Just float above charges and weapon tosses, then get in close again and lash him a few times or suck up a star and expel it to inflict damage. Either way is simple.

After you defeat Gigant Edge, head right to a 3D Warpstar that appears. Ride it into the background, but don't enter the obvious goal door. Instead, floot up through a vertical shaft. You'll find a bomb block. Hit it to trigger an explosion that reveals the Rare Keychain: Love-Love Stick. Now drop down and enter the goal door to exit the stage.
