I just played this game! Nice review--pretty much sums up my experience with the 'campaign'. I didn't bother trying the tower, and I don't know if I'll bother now.

I don't have to prove I'm refined - that's what makes me refined!

Thanks for reading, Marc! I wish we both could have had a better time with Castaway, but I don't regret playing it. I'd be up for playing a longer game from the same outfit, if the game had a more complete experience to offer in a similar vein. As a sampler, Castaway wasn't bad.
