I have only ever played the GBA version, and the cuts you described really make it a much less enjoyable Mega Man game (for me) than most others in the series. I wish they would offer the original now. There have been enough Mega Man compilations to allow for it, surely. Or, maybe they could add it to Nintendo Switch Online. That would work pretty well, I think.

It's funny that last year I put a comment on your review of this game and was like "this game's way better!" and then I basically gave it the same score.
Not sure how to make a sig? While logged into your account, you can edit it and your other public and private information from the Settings page. |

I have the Virtual Console releases of Mega Man & Bass (the GBA version, sadly) and the two Mega Man Xtreme games, despite still owning the cartridges. For another few days, those remain an option for people with the money and the interest. After that, there's only emulation unless Capcom decides to pick up the money that's currently resting on the table. Which maybe it will. Stranger things have happened!
