Thanks for sharing, Joe! At least it's an easy one, eh?

I liked this game a lot when I was a kid. I rented it twice, I think, which is saying a lot because I didn't even get to rent games all that frequently. The production values felt (at the time) very good, with a vibrant world that was easy on the eyes. And it switched things up enough to stay interesting. Definitely the series highlight, as you mentioned.

"What if everything you see is more than what you see--the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world2

Jason L:
Yeah, thankfully. It also helped that I've played this one numerous times. It was actually one of the first games I beat as a kid.

Jason V:
I did enjoy this game a lot more when I was younger. It was one of the first games I played after getting an NES. Sadly, it was also the first in the series I checked out, so when I went back and played the other two, I was extremely disappointed.
