I read this review based on the quality of the "ring a bell" joke, and was glad to see it through to the end. Good job making a reivew of a simple game interesting.

I played Stinger on NES, which I believe is Twinbee under a different name.


Not sure how to make a sig? While logged into your account, you can edit it and your other public and private information from the Settings page.

Stinger's the second Twinbee. It differs from the first and third ones (as well as all the subsequent ones I've played) by virtue of, like Life Force, alternating between horizontal and vertically scrolling stages. All the rest are pure vertical. That was one of those games that deserves to be in my Hall of Fame of games I loved when I was in high school, but struggle to maintain interest in now.
