Over the years, I've played one hell of a lot of shooters and I can safely say that the Genesis' Raiden Trad definitely is one of them.

This is a review that I read.

I think you well described this game. I looked at a longplay and it's such a drab looking game. The only thing you forgot to mention was the music, which seems to be a thing that the game plays during levels.


Not sure how to make a sig? While logged into your account, you can edit it and your other public and private information from the Settings page.

Let's see...I remember that there was music and, uh, I don't remember disliking it! But, I guess, like much of this game, it was just there. Probably doesn't say much for it that after finishing this game, I started Belmont's Revenge for the Game Boy and found the music of the first stage I played (Crystal Castle) to be more memorable considering we're talking about the Game Boy, which isn't a system I think of when I think "great music".

Shooters is (or was) a genre with a... highly high excellent specimens/specimens ratio, which is one of a pack of reasons that shut that market's doors to entrepreneurs willing to enter.
