Great review. I want to come back to this game, but I found it hard to get into.

Oddly for me, Infinite Engine games were very easy to play because I already understood the rules and setting very well. I came into them after the gold box games so I knew what THAC0 and saving throws were, and I knew who Helm and Lolth and all those were so it was easy to get in. PoE's setting didn't draw me in very much after a few hours (but the story telling was great!).

Probably doesn't help that the only computer I have that can run it is in the basement... It's cold down there!
