So, does Nintendo do any quality control for Switch titles, or have they thrown the doors wide open the way Valve did with Steam? I don't own a Switch and I've never been a console gamer, so I'm really not up to date on these things...

Nintendo does have quality assurance, but that doesn't stop publishers from releasing complete duds. I think the main thing is it prevents them from turning in the kind of games that feel like class projects or asset flips. This one may be shoddy, but I can tell the developer at least put some work into it and didn't just slap together some random junk for a quick buck.
The only thing my milkshake brings to the yard is a subpoena. |
