Roughly a day or so after I bought my PS4 late last year, I was chilling out one night and looking at game trailers in the store and was immediately captivated by this one to the point where I was a bit disappointed to see it was VR, as that isn't something I personally am interested in doing because I'm a grumpy middle-aged luddite man who can't put up with all these dadgum new-fangled things in gaming all you whippersnappers are into. But I did get the Secret of NIMH vibe you allude to in the post-review line, which intrigued me and I'm glad that this is a good game. Something that looked as enchanting as it did in the trailer deserves to be a legit good game, too!

Yeah, I used to get the same feeling whenever I found out a game was VR prior to me buying a headset. I think that feeling burned me so much, that I try my best, when possible, to mention a game is in VR or imply within the first paragraph of the review, unless if the game has a "VR" in its title.

Thanks for reading!
