I remember playing this game in the arcades! Ah, to be young again. Anyway, great review/bit of arcade history/rant. You touch on a lot of stuff here in a short space and keep it entertaining. Kudos.

Yeah, likewise. It's weird; I got a lot of mileage out of most of the arcade-y 2v2 basketball games. I owned Arch Rivals and both Shut Up & Jams as well as the Jam games themselves. I think Jam worked best because how well the concept was simplified. Until it came time to modernize it, and then it was bloody awful. You ever play the 3D take?
