This looks expensive for what it is. These niche throwbacks always seem to be overpriced. Wasn't Raiden V like, a million dollars?

This is a fighting game, so $40 doesn't seem outlandish. $30 to $40 seems to be the going rate for mid-tier stuff, if not higher. Raiden V was I believe $40 and came with a soundtrack CD on the PS4. So that didn't feel excessive to me, either. Of course, both of those prices DO seem excessive on Steam, where pocket change will get you a dozen games on a good sale. It's all relative, and I'm used to the console economy because that's where I prefer to play most of my games.

What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things." - Shigeru Miyamoto on secret doors to another world2
