The first third or so of this review felt really stiff, almost as if you couldn’t think up and intro and just plopped something down so you could get on with the review. We’ve all been there. The best parts of the review was talking about when you give a brief window into your co-op experience. Perhaps a little too brief; so much of the game is spent talking about Borderland’s mechanics that a few more in-game examples might have helped for a more balanced review.

Still, you been ambitious and put an effort in for a very difficult to review game. I’ve put probably a couple of hundred hours into both Borderlands, but never got any further them planning stages for a review because there was just too much to talk about and I didn’t know where to start.

I can't deny any of this! Like you said, it's a game with a ton of stuff to discuss and I really couldn't find a way to cut things down to a manageable length and feel things might have gotten away from me at times. This review had three stages.

1. I wrote it and saw I had a massive behemoth that was long as hell.

2. I worked a couple hours on trimming it down and saw that it was a bit shorter, but still really unwieldy.

3. I threw my hands up in the air and passed it on to Venter with a "I tried; you do what you can!!!!" sort of message. Since it took him nearly a month to get to it, I think he relished that prospect as much as I had.
