I hate this game. It's the one classic-style Resident Evil I'll never revisit, and it's because of the stupid inventory system and character swapping mechanic. About the only thing it has going for it are some of the best pre-rendered environments ever made for a video game.

I've replayed three Resident Evil games to keep this streak alive. Worryingly, Res 0 was by far the best of the bunch. I still don't care for it at all, though.

Cool review. Shame the inventory system totally seems to ruin the game. Considering that's the bulk of the argument against it here, it really says something about how one lousily executed feature can impact the experience.

Thanks. Res 0 is probably worth playing if you're looking to complete the Resident Evil set, but beyond that I'd say probably skip it.
