Alien Swarm was not actually created by members of Valve.

Well, it was. But only because Valve hired the Alien Swarm team while the project was in mid-development. It would be more accurate to say that the creators of Alien Swarm were hired by Valve, or that Alien Swarm was developed by members of Valve.

Other than that, spot-on review.
