Good review. I'm not sure how much of that applies to me as I'm very familiar with the series, and dying to play this one. Soon! I've noticed with TellTale that the first episode doesn't take many risks, but hopefully they find their stride with the second episode, now that they've gotten some feedback.

I'm hearing that the game is fairly good, though. If all of the episodes are around the 4-5 hour mark, we could end up with a 20-25 hour Monkey Island game by the end of this, making it a fair bit longer than any of the previous ones.

Great review. I like how the style of the review is a little more relaxed than your usual voice, without losing any of your great analytical ability. Could this be a sign of the Lewis of the future? Mixing analysis with casualness? I hope so.

The length of the game was actually a point of concern for me. 35 euros for a downloaded game seems a bit steep - five times 35 euros is more than just that, unless I can safely consider them all full fledged games.

Upon replaying Secret of Monkey Island on Steam I discovered *that* was roughly a five hour game, mind. It felt longer in my memory.

Er... the price tag is for the whole series, though. Isn't it?

You certain? The way I saw it presented on Steam, that's not the impression I got...

It's never too late to admit you were wrong, right? The price *is* for the full package, and after they sneakily gave away episode 1 on TLAPD, I went and bought the rest. Which was of course the intention all along.
