Yeah, not a great game, is it?

Why do you think I fogged it off on to you/Jason fogged it off onto Zipp?

Ah, I see how it is!

Actually, it was nice to review it. It was a very hard game to review, because it wasn't straight up TERRIBLE or broken like Syberia DS, it just wasn't fun and it wasn't intuitive, all around a harder thing to bash.

well, obviously the review I just read was made by someone with severe mental disabilities, anyone that can't figure out how to walk in a PS3 game should not be playing games at all. And Sacred2 is an aggrevating game with port-over glitches but it is far better than most that I've seen. As for the camera--you can manually move it. The review said that you can't get it behind your character...?how can't you? Its almost behind you all the time...If your not going to review a game with a bit more sense than that, you needn't bother to do so. I could review games better than that with my eyes closed typing with a pen in my mouth on the keys. That was a waste of a valuable 2 minutes of reading.....I'm going to go play Sacred2 now and enjoy walking forward with THE ANALOG STICK with the camera BEHIND ME.......

Please tell me they at least kept the goblins with the screechy German voices. I loved those.

Calm down, Talon. Less of the unnecessary insults. You can disagree with the review all you want, but ranting like that makes you look childish and, frankly, an idiot.

Sacred 2's a vast, ultimately clumsy game that a lot of people are still going to dig. Not everyone's going to come away with the same opinion, and it certainly hits a niche, but in the grand scheme of things I'd agree with almost everything in this review. If you fancy a second opinion, check out my review of the PC version... though it makes many of the same points.

Talon, I appreciate your feedback the way I appreciate a good kick in the balls at four in the afternoon every day. However, next time you should aim higher and leave such things as the mentally ill out of the conversation.

I stand by everything I bitched about in Sacred 2. Also, next time read my review before you post about it with frothing fury. I never mention any issues with walking. I complain that you can't get the camera fully behind you while you walk, which is true unless you're targetting an enemy or in a strange position with walls bordering you. The few times I DID manage to get the camera behind me, it was just a view of my raunchy character's ass, and I couldn't see where I was going.

Sorry, friend, but the screenshots are on my side.

EDIT: And another thing... are you seriously claiming that Sacred 2 is a good game just because of camera movement? Because that's the only point I make that you seem to take fault with. How do you explain the general suckitude of everything else in the game?

You're actually responding to an account that was obviously created for the purpose of making a post flaming you? :)

I think the default cheesy puffs avatar may be a giveaway of that.

I tend to go by the exactly 20 HG points and the empty profile.

I can't help myself. I was born in the defensive position.

..the game wasn't very good.. but I enjoyed the review, so that's ok.

The strange thing about this game is that it's been like this since the beginning. You had a somewhat well- written intro (..someone wrote down after having heard a good Gamemaster improvise the story once, or something), with lots of imagery and promise. And then there's.. that's it. You play for yonks, and the meaningful quests you have number exactly one.

Indeed, Flein. Could you remind me though... what was that one meaningful quest you speak of?

.. you know, I don't remember.

I mean - the blind book- reader. That's someone reading words that are not possible to read. A prophecy, or some divine wisdom. But.... if you're a game- master, it's usually the "I don't know what you're really going to be looking for yet, but it's probably ominous, and I'll remember it soon"- quest.

So did they really make a role- playing game based on that quest? Imo, that's pretty cool.
