I Need A Safe For My Memory Cards

Take my games. Take my console. Hey, take my pride as a male. But that will never compare to someone taking my memory cards. Sure, I could just get another one for $20 bucks and upload some game save off of GameFAQs, but that's my blood and sweat. That's me consciously fasting for hours on end, because I had to destroy every boss, clear every side mission, and claim every life container. That's me proving that I have accomplished what I thought was impossible.

And I almost lost my memory cards yesterday when the cleaning lady "misplaced" them. Thank God for her that I can't shoot lasers out of my eyes.

Once my sister formatted two of my memory cards to make room for Parrapa the Rapper. One would be bad, but at least understandable; why she wiped two is still an unanswered question.

Despite it being almost a decade ago, I still yell at her for it. One of them was my PSX X-Com card which contained over 100 hours of alien slaughtering and tactical cleverness.

No cleaning lady, no younger siblings, no 100 hours logged into X-Crap. My memory card are even packed snug away and safe from my cats. Pwned bitches!

My sister also deleted my PS1 memory card back when she was 7. She had seen me do it and thought that she was doing me a favor. I couldn't get mad at her for that.

At the store, I frequently get frustrated with some parents buying PS2's for their kids because the parents don't understand why a memory card is so important. I explain to them that the kid will have to start over every single time. The cheapskates usually reply with something like, "He's only 8. He can start over." That's all the more reason to buy the card! Do you really want to deal with a screaming kid who lost all his progress?
