So, I was playing Sonic 3 last night for the first time in AGES, and when I got to the carnival zone.... hip-hop-ish music starts playing. I can't believe I forgot about that. Seriously, how do you forget about something like that?
I guess I was trying to block out all those times I tried getting underneath that stupid bouncing, rotating.... whatever the hell it is. Back when the game first came out, the method I used getting by that part was putting Tails on the thing (using the second controller), and placing Sonic to the side. I then had Tails jump up and down on the thing, and when the opening was big enough, I had Sonic spin through it.
It almost makes me cry knowing now that all I had to do was press up and down on the thing. What the fuck, Yuji Naka.
