Things I've Learned This Week (Video Games)
March 10, 2016

-There's a Raiden V.

-There's a console port of Raiden V... for the Japanese Xbox One. Let that sink in.

-There's a spiritual successor to the Wonder Boy Monster Land/World games, which is even made by their original creator, called Monster Boy. Here's a trailer with a super upbeat Japanese song.

-The Japanese Hotline Miami Collected Edition release has an awesome cover. I would so buy it just for that... if it had a lower price. Edit: the reviews in that link say HM1 is on a disc, but HM2 is a download code. I don't understand the existence of this product now.

-Witch & Hero 2 is apparently coming out next week. Was not expecting that. (Edit update: turns out it's the week following.)

-A new Pang game is coming out next month. By DotEmu..........

-The new Hitman game is coming out today as I write this, and I am super bummed about it. I want to play it, but not a small fragment of it. As much as it pains me, I'm going to wait for the completed version. Also, as I literally started to write this, I just read news that the disc version has been delayed until January 2017. Yay.

Monster Boy looks pretty freaking sweet. I'm with you on waiting until 2017 to buy Hitman, as well. That resolution is made easier still by the fact that at present, I have basically no money...

I'm not really impressed by Monster Boy. It looks more like a retread of Monster World II and Monster World III rather than a true Monster World V.
