I rarely played a match where people actually wanted to survive. And normally, the rare times I did join a serious game, I get booted for not talking. The enjoyable thing about this is that it's fun to badly injure a player or destroy their setup before getting kicked out.
But yeah, I'm not playing that mode again. The other two modes have their fair share of asses, but this one is terrible.

Halon - December 24, 2009 (08:53 AM) To me L4D is unplayable outside of campaign unless you're playing with friends. Luckily I have enough friends to play with but if I didn't I would have given up a long time ago. |

dementedhut - December 24, 2009 (04:07 PM) Yeah, I'm fine playing with different strangers in campaign, since it makes for an amusing experience. Of course, Versus is a different story. I normally can play a decent game of Versus half the time without a mic, but it does help to have a mic in most cases. |
