Crap damn, it felt like every single day for the last two weeks there's always a thunderstorm popping up in my area. I can't go outside, I can't use my computer (thanks to many past experiences, I unplug my computer at even the sound of thunder from a distance), I can't really do anything. I'd be fine if I could watch tv, but thanks to my pussy Direct TV satellite, I lose the signal when it rains. I actually spent the last 2 hours playing NBA Jam and Picross on my Game Boy. That's how boring it got.

Just please... stop coming every day.

	Genj - May 16, 2009 (08:45 PM) Yeah I always unplug my consoles and laptop when it thunders. My family has lost a TV, a VCR, and DVD player to thunder storms. When it thunders I usually just read a book since Vista sucks up my laptop battery quickly.

Reading is an okay solution if there's natural light in which to do so and I can usually hit up my handhelds if I want to game for a little bit, but I definitely don't want to risk my computer or gaming consoles. They get unplugged!

	qxz - May 22, 2009 (09:10 PM) I live about 70 miles north of Los Angeles, an area that isn't well known for thunderstorms. They do come, but usually in July or August, if at all. And when the power goes out, the moist heat becomes unbearable. When the local weather forecast hints at even the slightest threat of a thunderstorm, my computer, game systems, even my stereo gets unplugged.
