Crack Down

Even though I think it's funny, how did the FAQ for the 360 game Crackdown end up in this game's section? I'm guessing someone assumed it was a prequel or something.

It's not that way at all. The site automatically links related FAQs together, with title being the main factor. Though it has been programmed to avoid linking to Genesis FAQs on the Xbox 360, it doesn't yet work the other way around. Considering this issue comes up with something like .005% of the games in the database, that may never change (though it's certainly something that could change).

That's what I thought at first, but then I figured that since the two titles were slightly different, that it couldn't have been that. Which is when I started thinking it was a human error. Thanks for the answer.

The site parses out spaces, colons and dashes so that if games that should be linked are displayed only slightly different in the database, they'll still have the relevant link. So "Crack-Down" and "Crack Down" and "crackdown" all would be linked, because once the parsing is done they all look like "crackdown." I know that's more info than you ever likely wanted, but I felt like sharing. :-D

Unknown to me, I spent a little time fiddling with the title for this game once I put the Crackdown X360 info up, adding spaces and hypens and swearing when neither worked.
