I'm pretty pumped because a good friend of mine is flying up to Green Bay from Dallas tomorrow and we are going to the Packers Giants game on Sunday. This is going to be a really fun weekend and if the pack wins I'm going to try and find Superpowl tickets.
I'm pissed off because Cloverfield isn't being shown in Green Bay. Marcus Theaters think they are being charged to much to show the movie so they aren't showing it. The same thing happened with Sweeney Todd. There is a theater about a half hour away that will be showing the movie, so I'll be able to see it one way or another. Maybe I should open a movie theater in Green Bay that doesn't suck, shows more independent films, and has better popcorn.

honestgamer - January 17, 2008 (02:57 PM) Around here, Regal Cinemas thought New Line wanted too much for the rights to show "Rush Hour 2," so they refused to pay. Then, a few weeks in, when the movie had topped 200 million and was still going, Regal decided that maybe the movie would be a moderate success after all and finally paid the fee to start showing it. |
