I need input. It is serious
December 02, 2007

I'm in the middle of a bunch of games. What one should I finish first. Mario Galaxy, Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Ratchet and Clank Future, Resistance, Dead Rising, and Odin Sphere.
I don't know why, but I can't finish games. I keep getting new ones. I am going to finish all of these before I buy anymore.

Mario Galaxy is ridiculously easy, though it's still a good game. Treat it as an appetizer before the main course.

Did you do everything in Mario Galaxy, Felix? If you beat it doing the bare minimum, I've heard it's a really easy game. If you play through the whole thing, though, it supposedly can get pretty difficult. That is, of course, the epitome of perfect game design. So I'm just wondering if you only made a dash for Bowser, or if you played it the way it's presumably meant to be played.

I'll tell you what I did Jason. I watched my roommate and other friend play the game (it's his, not mine). Occassionally I got to play, and when I did, I destroyed the game.

Now, I know you're the kind of guy who doesn't know how to use magic in games like NightShade ( :D ), but trust me Jason, the game hasn't been difficult at all. We've gotten 75 of the stars. Every single one of them has been easy, even for my roommate, and he was born without hands.

Your longest games are Ratchet, Resistance, and Odin Sphere. The rest are fairly short Pick one from each category that you want to beat the most. When you get a large chunk of time, work on the long one. Work on the short one when you feel like switching things up. That way, you'll beat a constant stream of games while getting variety at the same time.

I think I will start with galaxy and CoD4. I think I'm at about 40 stars in Mario and only a few were challenging.

I think someone should come up with a mathematical formula to represent what Pup's advice was.

No formula here, but basically I think he was saying to play only one of the long games at a time and when you need a break during that long game, play through one of the shorter ones.

I understood what Pup meant. The equation comment was a joke.
