It should be pretty self-evident, but at any time you can press F1 to get an instruction sheet.
I would particularly like feedback from people who had problems running the game. Whilst I am aware that it is not the most intense game you have ever played, it is possible that the sheer amount of independent insects could feasibly cause slow-down on some older PCs. It works perfectly well on both my desktop and my laptop, but they are both pretty high-end machines.
And, yes, before I get any complaints. I am FULLY aware that the game gets way too hard too quickly. This is deliberate, and is something I will tweak later.
Have fun!

honestgamer - April 10, 2007 (01:47 PM) I think I could play this game a LOT better with a dual analogue control setup. As things are, turning and moving forward at the same time aren't feeling natural for me and I'm dying a lot more than I would if it controlled like Geometry Wars. I think you have the start of a good game here (love the graphics) but I'm not going to really enjoy it with a keyboard control scheme. |

cheekylee - April 10, 2007 (03:09 PM) Dual analogue control, รก la Geometry Wars, will come later. Thing is, as incredible as this is going to sound, there are actually a few gamers out there who don't have that option! I know, I know, it's quite hard to believe there are such misguided fools, but they do exist. (Besides, I need to get me a wired 360 pad in order to program that option. At the moment I am stuck on dual shock.) Thanks for the feedback! |

pup - April 10, 2007 (06:07 PM) You're right, it does get hard extremely fast. Here's a quick list of thoughts. Pros: - amount and movement of black ants feels right. - centipede is cool. It surprised me when the different sections started moving independently. - The spiders pop in and out just enough to keep you on your toes. Cons: - red ants are hardly more of a threat than the black ants. - would rather an up, down, left, right control scheme for the keyboard. The slow button (S) seems pretty useless anyway. |
