ok so after my last bug report now i feel i must defend New Vegas coz it has crashed only once after that which is quite less.....i have had no incidence of a quest not starting.....but yes enemies do have trouble path finding and sometimes they do get stuck in objects which just makes them easy pickings :D
in fact.....a place where one of my companion got stuck because of my mistake, the game corrected that mistake and the companion joined me again after playing the game some more.....otherwise i would lost quite a few items from my inventory.....
the game does become quite easy with companions on your side.....reached level 20, i think the level cap is at level 30......

zippdementia - November 08, 2010 (09:33 AM) Are the companions better done than in Fallout 3? I did enjoy dogmeat, but he was the only useful one in that game and then only when he wasn't bugging out something major. |

zippdementia - November 08, 2010 (09:38 AM) In fact, I was just looking over bug reports and it explains why I'm enjoying dogmeat this time around... I installed the Brother of Steel DLC and if you do that BEFORE recruiting Dogmeat, he gains an incredible amount of health. I meant, I've watched him take out a room of Super Mutant Masters without having even a smidgen of health go down. Oddly enough, this is much more akin to how he acted in the original games. He was pretty damn invincible. |

blood-omen - November 08, 2010 (11:10 AM) well i recruited this guy Boone and he is quite effective with the sniper rifle.....i mean he does tremendous amount of damage with his rifle....then i also got a flying robot named ED-E on my side and he does a fine job of killing enemies with his laser but he is more like a mobile storing case for me.....coz there is A LOT OF STUFF and i mean A LOT OF STUFF to be collected in Fallout games....LOOTERS PARADISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

CoarseDragon - November 08, 2010 (12:45 PM) There are some memory leak/crash bugs on the PC but Bethesda has promised another patch for all systems. I don't think they can fix a companion being knocked into a rock and getting stuck, which I have seen, but maybe they can fix some of the random flashes and path problems. http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/11/05/more-news-on-new-vegas-updates/ |

zippdementia - November 09, 2010 (09:33 AM) Maybe, but you wouldn't say NO to a patch, right? |
