Review of a Realistic Game
July 14, 2009

The first time I played Run for the Bus I was a bit scared, I didn't think it would be interesting, I saw it go past and it kind of sucked because I saw the cars running in front of me, sort of like Frogger or Freeway but it's a lot worse if you get hurt. But then it came that magicday, the bus ran across and I didn't give up hope, I zigzagged through traffic past some dumb cars who had a red light to go screech their brakes by and I caught the bus AT THAT VERY RED LIGHT then made it to the L where I saw another bus go by before the L, the game is funny that way. Youd think it gets repetitive but it gets fun when youre already late for work and it's good retro action you don't even need a Walkman for(remember those!) Sometimes I make it 1 stop light behind, I run across the red light and those creepy 1984 traffic violation cameras they can't do nothing to me.

The sequel, Bus Ride, is kind of random, you never know what you're going to get plus you have to sit around. I mean Run for the Bus is random too but Bus Ride and then Train Ride which is both sort of like an expansion pack, there's some looking at windows to see if there's an empty seat but it doesn't really matter because it's like people are playing their own subgames like Talk Loud and Carry a Full iPod, but me I like Run for the Bus because it's good old faction doing stuff and it doesn't take too long.

Well Run for the Bus has had some upgrades over the years like you can even see when the bus is coming from the internet, now I think that's cheating but even so you can procrastinate if you find it in your heart to do one or two more stupid chores before you go out the door, it's still the basic exciting game where you may catch the bus or you might, often it's real fun on Friday night when you can walk almost a mile and there are a bunch of high rollers who play Drive in Circles For a Parking Palce, I mean that is a bogus game and it's not worth the price, like a few thousand, its just as repetitive really. Run for the Bus, you can pay monthly and it's real cheap. It's a lot of fun that you can keep coming back to everyday. Sometimes you can play it 2x or more but then you have to balance it out with a spot of Loss Leader Shopper or Workout Machine Hog.
