World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Is Finally Around the Corner
October 21, 2020

Sixteen years after its initial launch, World of Warcraft is getting its eighth major expansion, one of the most anticipated MMORPGs in 2020.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands was scheduled to be available from October 27, 2020. However, there seems to be some issues, and the release date is not set in stone. Luckily, Blizzard has just released a pre-expansion patch that you can pre-purchase to get the feel of the game. The patch has rolled out most of the new additions to the game, including a wonderful experience for all new players discovering Azeroth for the first time. Let’s see some of the most exciting features you can expect from the Shadowlands. Since the o

Revamped Character Creation Menu

Once you log in, you’ll be greeted with a character creation menu that’s more visually appealing than ever before. Thanks to class animations, you’ll be able to see how each character will look in battle. Whether you join the Alliance or prefer the Horde company, the new-and-improved menu will help you select the right character.

More Flexible Customizations

When customizing your character, you’ll now have many more options to choose from. Before this expansion, certain customization features were dependable upon one another. Now, you can pick anything to design your hero exactly the way you want.

Exile’s Reach for New Players

This addition is the most significant change that the Shadowlands has brought. It’s designed for newcomers, allowing them to explore the archipelago and get a sense of World of Warcraft.

Blizzard has introduced a new character leveling as well, reducing the maximum 120 levels to only 50. The Exile’s Reach storyline starts at level one, guiding new players all the way to level 10.

That’s when they can proceed to the Battle for Azeroth, which can take them up to level 50 before finally entering the Shadowlands. Don’t worry if you’re a veteran WoW player. You can run through the starter zones quickly to get to the Shadowlands.

Exploring Azeroth’s Afterlife

As soon as you have the power to enter the Shadowlands, you’ll be able to explore this mysterious realm between worlds fully. The afterlife of Azeroth is full of hidden wonders, but unimaginable horrors also lurk around every corner. This part of the game will undoubtedly be one of the most thrilling to experience.

Teaming Up with a Covenant

The four Covenants are at the heart of the Shadowlands expansion. They are powerful shepherds of the dead, and you have an opportunity to team up with one. Consider their powers and ambitions and choose wisely because you have a chance to claim their powers.

Ascending the Tower of the Damned

Ascending Torghast, the Tower of the Damned, is an endgame feature in the Shadowlands that you can replay as many times as you want. Every time you do, the eternal dungeon will look a bit different. Exploring the Torghast will offer an exhilarating and chilling experience, as the eternal prison is filled with vile souls that can never escape it.

Three Exciting Game Editions

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be available in three different editions:

● Base Edition
● Heroic Edition
● Epic Edition

If you get the Base Edition, you’ll be able to pre-purchase the Shadowlands. You’ll also get early access to Death Knights for Allied Races and the upcoming Wandering Ancient mount.

If you purchase the Heroic Edition, you’ll get everything from the Base Edition, as well as a Shadowlands-level character boost. You’ll also get the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount and a chance to start the quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler.

As you may have guessed, the Epic Edition includes everything from the other two editions. It also gives you an Eternal Traveler’s Hearthstone, the Anima Wyrmling pet, and the Wraithchill effect for your weapon. Last but not least, it gives you 30 days of game time.

Where Will the New Game Expansion Be Available?

Blizzard will be launching World of Warcraft: Shadowlands in the following locations:

● Americas & Oceania
● Europe
● Korea
● Taiwan

If that’s not where you live, not all hope is lost. You can still access the online game and explore the world of Azeroth and beyond.

All you need to do is use a VPN. It will give you an IP address of one of its remote servers, making you virtually appear in another geographical location. You simply need to choose the region where the Shadowlands will be available, click “Connect,” and let the VPN work its magic. You’ll be able to access the game instantly and even improve your internet speed.

If you are a true game fanatic, you are bound to explore all sorts of realms available. In the MMORPG genre, you can find real gems that are not always available in your region. Hence, we hope you get the opportunity to explore all you want!
