I have discovered, though, that the much-lauded Irish hangover cure("Ow, my foot really hurts! Hey, my hangover's gone!") is far, far surpassed by the Scottish version. That's the one where, instead of banging your foot against a table leg, you simply drink more.

Both me and my brother had terrible hangovers a little while back, but while mine lasted for a few hours, he got over his quite easily. I didn't know why, but I only found out later when he told me that he had taken four shots of vodka to make himself feel better. |
