Here's mine from the Zelda games I have played:

1. A Link to the Past (By far my favorite)
2. Majora's Mask (Like the uniqueness)
3. Zelda 2 (Once you get used to the difficulty, you realise it's a great game)
4. Ocarina of Time
5. Legend of Zelda
6. Wind Waker
7. Link's Awakening
8. Minnish Cap
9. Oracle of Seasons/Ages

You can see a pattern here; I was never impressed with any of the handheld versions.

Yeah, I've never liked Zelda II. I accept that the combat was pulled off well but it was a wildly inconsistent design with really bland dungeons.

I don't understand why people seem to dislike the Oracle games, though. I thought Ages in particular was fantastic.

If you asked me a month ago Ocarina of Time would probably be #2 but the game has aged a lot.

THE OVERDRIVIN' LIST OF GREATNESS

1. Legend of Zelda (likely in big part due to nostalgia, but I still occasionally play it even though I've beat it a gazillion times).

2. Adventure of Link (I have fond memories of my youth when I'd speedrun the second quest where you start with the same attributes you finished the game with so you can kill the first couple bosses with two hits).

3. Ocarina Of Time (my favorite dungeons of the series)
4. Link to the Past (not as good as the diehard fans say, but nowhere near as bad as the detractors say)
5. Link's Awakening (my favorite of the GB Zeldas)
6. Oracle of Ages (better than Seasons, but not as good as Awakening)
7. Oracle of Seasons (the problem with the GB Zeldas is how few buttons the system has.....in the latter dungeons here, I spent as much time on the item screen to switch what I was holding as I did playing)
8. Majora's Mask (I hated how the emphasis went from dungeons to being at certain places at certain times to fulfill little quests for random townspeople to get things you needed to move the game along).

That's all I've played that I can think of.

1. Ocarina of Time

I've only played this one.

And the funny thing is, Wind Waker would probably be #1 on my list if it didn't make you spend 75% of the game sailing.
