PlayStation Store finally back up!
June 03, 2011

I was so stoked when I checked it out this morning. There was a good amount of new stuff on offer too, but the free shit we anticipated is not available yet--boo.

Highlights for me: Bonk's Adventure and Bomberman '94!! This follows the Neutopia release of a few months ago.

I've got all these games already, but the idea is I can download them on my PSP and play them on the go now. And that's better than spending $300 for a used TurboExpress with dead pixels.

Get the Turbo Express, and stop being a cheaparse.

I should probably post this since I've seen idiots on Twitter complaining about losing their codes due to PSN error messages.

Go to: Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Services List -> SCEA Promotion

Thanks, HMD.

I'll also note that you may experience error with the "Welcome Back" option, simply because there's about a million users trying to access it right now.

I managed to "purchase" my four games, even though I haven't downloaded most of them. Purchasing was all I really wanted to do at this point, though, since there's an expiration date on the "Welcome Back" program. I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss out on the freebies. Now they're linked to my account and stuff!

I think they're giving everyone 30 days from today.

Yeah, thirty days is the time limit but if I didn't do it today, I might forget about it down the road and then I'd just feel stupid. So now I have that out of the way and don't have to worry. :-D

Heh. Yeah. I did the same thing. I don't know about you (may be my internet) hut it's taking its sweet ass time. Plus, I may be losing my PS3 soon anyway and wanted to get that on my account before then.

I finally hooked my PS3 up for this occasion. That and I wanted to play Scott Pilgrim.

Wait, code? Someone said code. What code? I have no code. Do I need one?

Sony has just been hacked for the thirteenth time in the last month (so much for their lauded "Advanced Security Technology"). It was a small breach, but still, this is just a public service announcement to use point cards instead of credit cards to make your PSN purchases. Sony's going to be hacked from here to doomsday.

I wondered if someone might hack PSN again just to prove they can. Sigh.
