Oh dear.

Someone at N4G has already decided this review is "too harsh" because the game "looks okay" to him. I'm not sure what else I could have said to convince him.

The N4G thread is generally just "LOLZ GAME OF THE YEAR IRONY!" comments really. The only ridiculous one says something like "Come on. I don't think this looks too bad. Review's a bit harsh, I reckon." Nothing link-worthy.
