Isn't snow rubbish when you have to venture out in it with a crippling hangover?

JANUS2 - February 01, 2009 (12:30 PM) Whereabouts do you live? It sort of started to snow down here in Somerset but then it stopped and now it's just really cold. |

wolfqueen001 - February 01, 2009 (12:35 PM) Don't talk to me about snow, please.... It finally went above 30F a few days ago... after fluctuating between -12 and 25 for the past two weeks... with enough snow to bury a mountain it seemed like. It's actually warm outside. Warm in winter... hahahaha And it's only like 35! |

EmP - February 01, 2009 (01:28 PM) Bollocks to your hangover -- I had to play football in that. I think I could actually snap one of my nipples off right now. |

Halon - February 01, 2009 (02:05 PM) Isn't snow rubbish when you have to venture out in it regardless of your current condition? |

bloomer - February 01, 2009 (04:37 PM) It's summer here, and there's no snow in winter unless you climb a mountain. |

overdrive - February 01, 2009 (09:37 PM) I'm on board with WQ on this issue. I was snowed in for nearly two days before I got plowed out. It was brutally cold, really windy (so the snow drifted all over roads) and I got a good foot or so of that white shit. Hangover, no hangover, utter sobriety......it sucked no matter what condition I was in. Today was nice, though. I think we hit 40 or so! |

goldenvortex - February 01, 2009 (09:42 PM) It's snowing right now!!!!!!! |

wolfqueen001 - February 01, 2009 (10:02 PM) Yeah, and my estimates didn't factor in wind chill. If I were to factor in wind chill, I'd guess the temperature from the past two weeks or so (not including these warmer days) fluctuated between negative 30 and 15F. |

JANUS2 - February 02, 2009 (02:03 AM) WEATHER UPDATE: Ok so I woke up this morning and everything is covered in snow. |

Lewis - February 02, 2009 (02:58 AM) WEATHER UPDATE: The snow has seemingly completely broken London, leaving my girlfriend stuck down there after venturing to the capital for a friend's birthday do. Her David Brent-esque boss is unlikely to be best pleased. In Leeds there is a light covering which will no doubt cause a complete and utter standstill regardless of the fact that it's less than an inch deep. On the more amusing side, all the cars on our street have turned invisible. |

EmP - February 02, 2009 (06:38 AM) I'm buried in snow. I#ve decided to hide indoors all day in a futile effort to still regain some feeling from last night. Which I might blog about when I feel less lazy. |
