The isometric view the game has is somewhat disorienting. It's like Xenogears' camera, you're always rotating it to get the right view for what you want to see. With SO3's isometric camera, I just wish it were angled a little lower than it is, it seems like it's at a 45 degree angle and too close to the character, at times. There are some nice sights to see in the game occasionally, like the rivers or waterfalls that run alongside a town or a map, and the camera barely lets you capture those picture-esque qualities. But of course, you get used to it. But on the other hand, it still bothers me, and if something could have been changed, I would ask that to be changed.

Another thing about SO3 is that there is tons of background information thought out for the game. There's a dictionary that gathers terms as you encounter them in dialogue, or in the couple libraries that you visit, or any little text that you encounter that has dictionary terms. Then you go in the dictionary and are able to read up on all the terms you've encountered. There is TONS of information, and if you like a fleshed out world in terms of information, Star Ocean 3 has definetely got that in spades. I found myself interested this time through to read all the volumes of the history of Elicoor in Aquaria's library. They go in to detail about how all the God's formed and what God's were important in the advent of Apris, the Sun god.

I find the Star Ocean 3 universe all the more interesting when I actually learn about why the wars are occuring, personally. This is something I'm hoping Star Ocean 4 is going to follow through on. One of the developer's commented that Star Ocean 4 is going to attempt to be the most realized of the Star Ocean series. And I really hope they come through, 'specially considerin' I'll have to get a 360 once Star Ocean 4 comes out. Which... by then, Resident Evil 5 will also be out. Oh! Gaming bliss is on the horizon.

Albiet, I've found myself steering away from the next-gen delight of this age due to its cost, primarily, and the expansive library of games that can be delved into already pre-existing. Duely because of this, I've gotten a PSP somewhat recently... good stuff!

I'm also working on a Universal mode tip guide for Star Ocean 3, which will just detail some important suggestions in being successful in not getting your ass kicked in this higher difficulty.

Well, I think my pot of coffee is done. Have a good day folks.

Oh, and now I can use the third set of outfits on my Universal file now. Hot! (Don't worry, I'm not nearly hardcore enough to get 80% of the battle trophes to get the fourth set. That requires like... a bajillion hours of gametime. TILL THE END OF TIME always rings true with this game, though =/
