James Gordon says: "There are a lot of very well-done features in this game, which should not be overlooked, but also enough cons to lessen the pack of it's punch a great deal."

asherdeus says: "To begin this review, I'll indulge you in an anecdote, as I like subjecting my readers to them. I originally purchased this game entirely for the demo of Metal Gear Solid 2 that was bundled with it. I couldn't have cared less about the Zone of the Enders, I was more concerned with the sequel to which was arguably the best PlayStation game of all time (and as far as gameplay is concerned, MGS 2 will probably end up being arguably one of the best PS2 games of all time). dragoon_of_infinity says: "Imagine a situation wherein a group of terrorists captured, say, all of New York. With a small army of remote drones and actual soldiers, they don't sneak in, they flood in over the bridges and within minutes have control over the entire city. The situation is chaotic and fragile. People die, both intentional and unintentional deaths. Panic is widespread. The situation is...well, crazy, for the lack of a better word. "

jiggs says: "While most reviews are inclined to credit Zone of the Enders as the work of Hideo Kojima. His association is nothing more than an endorsement for the game rather than something you could truly consider as the mastermind of his work. Instead, the idea for the game came from one of Kojima's disciples. Zone of the Enders has the dubious honor of being called a Hideo Kojima game without much involvement from the man himself. His name only appeared twice during the ending credits..."

pestes says: "Its the game everybody had to buy to play Metal Gear Solid 2 in its minute demo form. Hideo Kojima's big robot basher is pretty and very well structered. Its also horribly short- I completed it in 5 and a half hours over a period of one Saturday night and a all day today- and sports a disapointingly abrupt ending. "
