Crisis Core
March 07, 2009

I like everything I see so far.

Playing on hard might not have been the greatest idea, as I can't beat the first mission :P

You know, it wouldn't be a problem except for one little thing...

YOU CAN'T SKIP CUTSCENES.

Jesus f-ing Christ, each cutscene vislike five minutes long! That does it. Any game that has unskippable cutscenes gets an automatic 2 point reduction.

Have you fully explored every last option to skip cutscenes? Sometimes, they map the option to a really awkward, unexpected button. Never give up until you've tried everything!

Yeah, no, they're unskippable. A lot of reviewers have complained about it, now that I've taken a looksie around the ol' net.

The game is HIGHLY enjoyable, otherwise.

I like the banner on your page; WotL was phenomenal.

Thank you. FFTactics is my favourite game of all time.

FFt was awful. Thought, to be fair, I've not played the PSP port.

Crisis Core, however, might end up being my favourtite FF game yet. I've not actually wanted to skip a cutscene yet (and I'm all but endgame fiddling with missions) so that issue hasn't cropped up with me.

FFt was good. Emp sucks.

Crisis is alright. I am the end right now, getting butchered by cactuars and some other things in missions. Can't finish the game until I get 100 percent. It's a curse.

EMP TOTALLY sucks. FFT is one of the greatest games of all time.

In all honesty, by this time I've heard enough opinions on FFT to know you either love it or hate it. If ever I get around to writing a review on it, it would definitely be approaching it from a love/hate angle.
