Because of your excitement for the series, I decided to review Animorphs for the Gameboy Color. I regret to inform you that while the series is great, this game... not so much. I'm hoping the games on the other consoles are much better.

This is also one of 3 reviews I had written over spring break. It's completely rewritten from the original draft. I'm hoping it's much better than the original draft, too. I sure felt it was; otherwise I wouldn't have been so bold and released it without editing.

Granted, I know there are still problems with it. I feel like some of my transitions are ineffective and... bad. I also feel that I get too explainy in some parts without giving any examples. Perhaps I'm not even explainy enough.

Either way, though, I'm much happier with this than the other draft I had. I thought it turned out decently for a review that was written without much emotional inspiration. I think it was one of those "once it got started, it couldn't stop" type things. Thanks Felix for helping me with that. I hope this version's a better model of what you pointed out to me.

Normally I don't talk about my reviews like this, and this willl probably be one of the last times I do, maybe (unless I feel like jumping on the Year in Review bandwagon come December/January).

Anyway, it's 6 in the morning. On a Saturday. Even EmP's not on yet (and it's noon there!). >_> I'm going to try sleeping again. Don't know why I woke up so early. Maybe I was anxious about this.

Thanks! You're the first one to do that in like... ever.

Haha, the game sure sounds terrible enough.

The fact that you can't play as Ax irks like a Yeerk, too.

Actually, the cover art is a promotional image strictly from the TV show, so I wonder if the game is based more on the show than the books? Although it's a subtle difference.

Anyway, good review.

Thanks. Yeah. I wish I could've played as Ax - that would've been awesome, maybe. Then again, maybe not. He'd probably get beaten by a pigeon or something.

The cover art was from the show? That's interesting. I did save the link you gave me that had all those on it, but I haven't had time to go and watch them. Maybe the game is based more off hte show, then. I have no idea.

I have no idea what the other Animorphs games are like. I can only imagine they'd be much better, though.
