Wow. I didn't realize how fast the deadline for the Alphas was coming up... I might be more than a little screwed... or not... We'll have to wait and see, I guess.
The main issue is my focus. I'm not sure where I want to take the review. Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, being the expansion of the RTS Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, has a lot of new features that are worth noting, but since I haven't reviewed AoE II, I'll need to cover the basics for the game in the review as well.
And yes, I'm sure some of you would say "Why not just review AoE II?" Well, the thing is, I've been playing the expansion since it came out. I've only played the original AoE II for about a year maybe, if that, and that was ages ago. I don't remember enough about what the game was like before the expansion to write a decent review on it.
However, there is both good news and bad news in this department... I'm going to my dad's Tuesday - the only place I can play PC videogames anymore - so I'll be able to play the game some before actually writing the review...
The bad news... he doesn't have great internet service. Nor does he have Microsoft Word on the computer I'll be playing the game on... and I'm not sure if the other computer has it, either (Note to self: use Wordpad). Either way, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to write the review... and even if I did get it finished, I'll be crunched for editing... I'd have to finish it at least a day or two in advance to get decent revision done... Hm... Decisions decisions...
The other good news is tomorro's my last final. >.> Yay! I hope I don't fail... I certainly can't seem to focus well enough to study.
And well, I guess everyone else here taking finals has them a lot worse off than me, so... Well, hope the rest of you have had good luck with those. I'm sure you need it more than I do.

You want a review r a research paper? >.> Of course, I could most certainly talk about the Teutonic knights and how they're the most powerful infantry unit in the game (I think), but 5000 words is a stretch even for me.
