Title: Wayne Steed's Unofficial Master List of Good Christian Rock Songs
Posted: October 23, 2007 (03:23 PM)
Well, since I felt bored today, I used my knowledge of Christian rock, with a few song suggestions from my friends, to create an Unofficial Master List of Good Christian Rock Songs. Enjoy! And please note that all of the three songs suggested by my friends are marked with asterisks.

So, here we go, in no particular order:

Love Addict (Family Force 5)
Lie to Me (12 Stones)
Going Under (This Beautiful Republic)
The Unwinding Cable Car (Anberlin)
Say This Sooner (The Almost)
Wolf Am I! (mewithoutYou)*
Not Ready to Die (Demon Hunter)
Rebirthing (Skillet)
Caroline (Seventh Day Slumber)
Awakening (Switchfoot)
I Need You (Relient K)
Wake Up! Wake Up! (Everyday Sunday)
You're on Fire (MxPx)
Zero (Hawk Nelson)
Replace Me (Family Force 5)
Black Box (This Beautiful Republic)
Undying (Demon Hunter)
Comatose (Skillet)
Oh! Gravity (Switchfoot)
Angels (MxPx)
I Love You to Death (Family Force 5)
One Thousand Apologies (Demon Hunter)
The Last Night (Skillet)
Never Let Me Go (Family Force 5)
Not I (Demon Hunter)
Biting the Bullet [is Bad for Business] (MxPx)
Whispers in the Dark (Skillet)
The Show (Hawk Nelson)*

You're Ever So Inviting (Underoath)
Falls Apart (Thousand Foot Krutch)
Evil [A Chorus of Resistance] (Project 86)
Stitches (Haste the Day)
Temptation Come My Way (The Showdown)

This list is open to revision, so suggest away. Later versions will be posted later with your suggestions. YEAH!

I think "Stars" by Switchfoot is a much better song than "Oh, Gravity!"

Anyway, your list is very much incomplete. It doesn't have "Threads" by Geoff Moore & The Distance (or "Home Run" by the same grouop) and it doesn't have "Breakfast" by Newsboys and it doesn't have any Audio Adrenaline, plus there's no Michael W. Smith or Third Day. Tragic. Simply tragic. Also, Rebecca St. James is really good and I don't see anything listed from her. I also liked Bleach and All-Star United and Code of Ethics and PFR, but they might've been before your time. I'm not sure how old you are. If you like Switchfoot, though, you should definitely check out PFR.

At least you didn't say Naruto.

I'm pretty much a n00b at Christian rock, and these are songs that I hear on the radio often. I should check out all your suggestions, tho.
