There is only one blog that will truly deliver enough awesomeness to save the world. And this isn't it. (But check it out anyway.)

*NOTE: Prior to when I posted this entry, Roger Federer had not won Wimbledon yet, so just know that.*
Since I don't have anything very interesting to talk about on videogames today, I thought that I'd post a personal opinion of mine on the currently undergoing Wimbeldon tennis matches. I am not a huge fan of the sport, but I think that all of us have watched the big W at one time or another.
As all you Wimbledon viewers know, just a few hours ago Venus Williams was crowned the women's champ for the fourth time. Good job, her! I saw the last two thirds of the match, and I have to say that, while she played better than I can and ever will, the other player, Marion Bartoli, was very skilled competition for Venus. It was a hard-fought battle, but eventually Venus won out.
In men's tennis, Roger Federer-- THE Roger Federer-- will be facing Rafael Nadal for the finals tomorrow. While I did not see Federer's semifinal match vs. Richard Gasquet, I saw Nadal play Novak Djokovic (well, a little of the beginning). It surprised me to learn that Nadal had won, 'cuz when I was watching, Djokovic was winning by a lot. However, he retired due to an injury. This last match is gonna be Sonic and Mario; the big one.
To all my readers expecting me to say something witty and charming about videogames, I'm so sorry. I just don't really have anything to talk about. I'll find something, I promise.

Gotta tell you something.
One time, I was playing someone else in a singles match, right? And he hits a drop shot, right? The ball lands on the opposite side of the court from where I was. So I dash over to it and hit it with a kind of rushed, desperate swing, and get this -- I hit the ball with so much spin, it bounced back over to my side.
The pros would do that every time if they could.

Wow! I'd whistle, if I could, but I can't. That's just how weird I am. Actually, the pros might use that as a practice tool; i.e., spin-hit the ball, watch it bounce back, and repeat steps one and two over and over. That is, if they could do it.
