The HonestGamers forums should be kept friendly, fun and informative, like the overall site. Everyone posting on the site is expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

• Profanity should be kept to a minimum.
• Posts may not contain or link to pornographic or similarly "adult-oriented" content.
• Posts must not discriminate against or attack another member of the community on the basis of race, religion, gender, political affiliation or physical/mental disability.
• Hostile posts suggesting that other members of the community "get good" (or similar) are considered harassment, and will generally be deleted if they detract or derail positive discussion.
• Users are not permitted to spam the forums (i.e. post repeatedly) products or services.
• Spoilers must be clearly marked, ideally within the title of a thread.
• Posts should not link to emulators, ROMs, or torrents and sites that contain such files.
