Announced on November 7, 2006, Fall Line Studio was formed in Salt Lake City as a means for Buena Vista Games to expand its development of titles for Nintendo platforms, specifically the Wii and DS. The company was formed with Scott Novis (formerly of Rainbow Studios) as its head, and is expected to draw development resources from BVG-owned Avalanche Software.
