Rock Revolution (Xbox 360)

Rock Revolution review (X360)

Reviewed on November 12, 2008

It by no means beats out Harmonix's effort in terms of gameplay, but if you've played so much Rock Band that you're in danger of burning out on the series -- or if you were disappointed by the lackluster Guitar Hero: World Tour -- Rock Revolution is a refreshing alternative.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Xbox 360)

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith review (X360)

Reviewed on August 14, 2008

Aerosmith fans will be left disappointed by a sparse and omission-filled track list, and Guitar Hero devotees will find little of the difficulty they crave. If anything, I'm going to remember Guitar Hero: Aerosmith as the first video game to accurately simulate the embarrassment and humiliation of being an opening act.
Bully: Scholarship Edition (Xbox 360)

Bully: Scholarship Edition review (X360)

Reviewed on March 28, 2008

Whether you're the new kid at Bullworth or an accomplished alumni, Bully: Scholarship Edition is well worth your money, but only if you approach it with patience and keep your expectations in check.
Harvest in the Heartland (DS)

Harvest in the Heartland review (DS)

Reviewed on December 29, 2007

Harvest in the Heartland is surprisingly fun for the first few hours, and hardcore Harvest Moon nuts may want to give it a look just out of curiosity, to see how an American developer approaches what has until now been an exclusively Japanese genre.
Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Burning Earth (Wii)

Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Burning Earth review (WII)

Reviewed on December 04, 2007

The two-player mode offers small amounts of dumb fun, but otherwise, The Burning Earth is ultimately shallow, problematic, and frustrating. Go for it if you've got room in your heart for another licensed brawler. Otherwise, you're better off bending air elsewhere.
Dance Dance Revolution: Ultramix 4 (Xbox)

Dance Dance Revolution: Ultramix 4 review (XBX)

Reviewed on December 02, 2006

Ultramix 4 features a variety of interesting step charts that sync well to the background music, and while few stages are difficult enough to challenge those who have mastered the hardest songs in past DDR releases, beginners and intermediate-level players will find a lot to like here.
