Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas review (PS2)Reviewed on May 04, 2005How many of you out there enjoy a good kill’n? I know I do. In my spare time, I like to run people over, steal fighters from military bases to wreak havoc, and go hooker beat’n. Of course, if I really did this stuff I’d probably be strapped to a table getting a tube put in my arm. But, thankfully, that’s where Grand Theft Auto San Andreas comes in. Now you can enjoy all the fun of being a homicidal maniac without worrying about the long dirt nap. |

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers review (PS2)Reviewed on September 23, 2004As you sit there waiting for your new Two Towers game to begin, you begin to watch the opening FMV sequence. The first few words out of your mouth are “Ooh, Pretty…” in your most Homer Simpson esque voice possible. Then, to your surprise, you find yourself thrust into the battle fighting as King Isildur in the war of the ring. As the nostalgia begins to wear off, you see your character running around pathetically swinging his sword like a four year old with a stick. Then, you say “what the hell?... |

SoulCalibur II review (GCN)Reviewed on September 05, 2004Do you like big swords? How about oversized muscle men in suspenders? If you answered yes to either questions, you’ll love Namco’s latest double edged serving of Soul Calibur II. Yum…giant steak knives… |

Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec review (PS2)Reviewed on August 19, 2004You’re driving down the pavement, buzzing past every single car ahead. With your level 4 turbo kit, you’re the meanest machine on the track. Then, you approach a curve, and you slam on the brakes, struggling to stay on the road. Instead of making the turn, you fly to the opposite side, hitting the wall and spinning out. As you try to right your car, the cavalry of cars you just past scream around the curve, passing you. No, this isn’t a real race; it’s the ultra realistic Gran Turismo. It’s so r... |

Cabela's Dangerous Hunts review (PS2)Reviewed on August 10, 2004How many of you out there have flipped around and checked out the outdoor channel, and saw some guy in a tree, whispering, ''Well ain’t she beauty, that’s a trophy'', or something similar? The NRA and every tree hugging animal lover have been going at it for quite awhile, because hunters have been killing ''defenseless little animals for sport''. To people like Ted Nugent, the motto in response is ''kill’em and grill’em''. However, in Activision’s next hunting title, you find yourself on the oth... |

Need for Speed: Underground review (PS2)Reviewed on July 23, 2004The Need For Speed series has always been about exotic cars on sunny, scenic roads. However, straying far from the beaten path, this installment takes you to the cold, underground world of street racing. |

Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memoires review (PSX)Reviewed on July 12, 2004The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise has been growing quite a bit, trying to become the next Pokemon in terms of popularity. The Yu-Gi-Oh! games have always been a mixed bag; some are pretty good, and some really, really suck. This game, in particular, is one on the bottom of the barrel. |

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II review (GCN)Reviewed on July 09, 2004MMORPG's seem to be on the rise, except on the Gamecube. However, fear not, for there is one game that IS online. Whether or not it is worth your hard earned(or begged)cash, remains to be seen. |
