Title: And so it begins...
Posted: September 03, 2007 (11:59 PM)
College starts tomorrow for me. Yay. I updated my game list, it's rather incomplete, but it's a portrait of what I have and like. I added a new review for Act Raiser, and 2 more are currently in the works. I can tell you that they deal with a certain vampire and very blocky communism, but I can't really give names. Also, Quintet-Fest ends tomorrow. It's a nice little Labor Day Weekend Before College celebration I made up. You'll never guess at what company's games you play! The rules are simple: You must own a Super Nintendo and the respective cartridges. I managed to complete Act Raiser and Illusion of Gaia, but I doubt I'll finish my speed run of Terranigma or beat Act Raiser 2, as that game gets significantly harder than the first.

[Edit - By the way, the title of this blog post comes from the Prologue for R.R.R., the song just before Rex Regi Rebellis. Yes, it's a prologue to the song, and it's 5 minutes long of narration. I pathetically have it memorized, and it's very cheesy. Go listen to Turisas if you like crazy Finnish Epic Metal. It's very entertaining.]

Title: Castle-MANIA!
Posted: August 25, 2007 (06:20 PM)
As of late, I have been playing through the Castlevania series, specifically the games on Nintendo's great handhelds. I have come to find that I love these Metroid-ish games, complete with leveling systems and equipment. They are lacking on the story side, but I guess that doesn't matter, since you know the formula (Slay Dracula). I'll probably end up reviewing them all once I finish Circle of the Moon and Dawn of Sorrow.
