About Me:

Sorry, but I haven't yet shared the information about myself that would typically display here. Check back later to see if that changes, or if I instead choose to remain an enigma.

Super Columbine Massacre RPG!

I posted this review yesterday. I really want to know what people think about a game like this. Should certain subjects be off limits to video games, although they are open for other mediums? When making an artistic expression in a game, how do we balance the commentary and the gameplay so that neither completely takes over?

Upcoming game
February 20, 2007

Here's a game that should be of interest to SHMUP fans with Nintendo DS's. Invalid Tangram is one part shooter and one part Tetris. Defeated enemis turn into colored blocks. Absorb the blocks to power up your weaponry and keep the time running. While the DS port is still in the works, you can download a PC version from the site below.

Versus Mode has begun. The game for this round will be the excellent Flash-based shooter, A.L.I.A.S. 3. Check out the rules, game, and competition in the Games Discussion Forum.

Prince of Awesome

I've been on a video kick lately, and if you've played Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, this is one of the best.

Edit
Video wasn't working, so here's the link.

Another WTF moment
February 12, 2007

I just heard that the US Treasury Department has decided to reissue the $1 coin. Apparently they attribute the previous coin's poor reception to the image of Sacajawea. The solution: reissue them with the images of our past presidents, in sequential order. *Sigh* The $1 coin didn't fail because of Sacajawea. It failed because nobody wants to carry 5lbs worth of singles in their pocket, because vending machines don't take them, and they take up too much space in cash registers. And for god's sake, is anyone thinking about the strippers?
