Staff review by Jason Venter (January 31, 2012) Like Mario in Donkey Kong the hero can leap only a short distance, so a lot of pulling is necessary if he’s going to scale some of the larger puzzles. It starts to feel almost like you’re building your own platformer as you go, which could easily become frustrating except that you can undo the last 15 seconds or so of play by holding the L button to rewind your actions, as in a Prince of Persia title. |

News article by Rhody Tobin (January 12, 2012) The 3DS and its "sweet spot" for 3D have created a problem for Kid Icarus: Uprising. The game is controlled with the circle pad and touch screen at the same time, meaning it can sometimes be difficult to keep the system still and stay in the 3D zone. |

News article by Rhody Tobin (January 10, 2012) The camera is controlled with the 3DS touch screen, but there are many times you'll want to move Pit with the circle pad and shoot by tapping the touch screen. With a Circle Pad Pro attached, left handed players will be able to move pit with their right hand and aim with their dominant left hand. |

News article by Skyler Bunderson (December 29, 2011) If there's one thing gamers love, besides video games that is, it is merchandise. Special editions of games come with all sorts of silly bonuses for those willing to pay a little extra, from Halo 3's Master Chief helmet to Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword's golden Wii remote. Konami, never one to turn down more money, contributes to this in its own way with a special hardware bundle for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. |
